Privacy policy,

What personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and what rights you have — whether you're a private customer or a trade contact.
Last updated: August 2026
We're the data controller, based in Belgium, following EU/GDPR rules — not some anonymous server farm.
CookMasterPro ("we", "us", "our") is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. We are based in Belgium and operate under EU data protection law, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Five buckets: who you are, what you ordered, your trade account, your device, and anything you write to us.
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
Orders, quotes, account management, invoices, improving the site, and staying legally compliant.
- To process and deliver your orders (B2C and B2B)
- To respond to enquiries and provide trade quotes
- To manage your trade account and ongoing business relationship
- To send order confirmations, shipping updates and invoices
- To improve our website and product range
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations
We process your data based on the performance of a contract, our legitimate business interests, your consent (e.g. marketing emails), or a legal obligation.
No data sales — just the people who need it to actually run your order.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only where necessary, with:
- Payment processors, to securely handle transactions
- Delivery and logistics partners, to ship your order
- IT and hosting providers, to run our website and store data securely
- Accounting and legal advisors, where required
- Authorities, where required by law
Accounting law sets the invoice clock at 7 years — everything else gets cleared out sooner.
We keep order and invoice data for as long as required by Belgian and EU accounting and tax law (typically 7 years). Trade account data is kept for the duration of the business relationship and a reasonable period afterward. Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry, unless a longer retention is required for legal reasons.
Access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, consent withdrawal — all yours to use.
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Erase your data, where legally possible
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Port your data to another provider
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@cookmasterpro.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Autorité de protection des données).

Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards — with an honest note that no system is unbreakable.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to keep your data as safe as possible.
